Mysore style, what does that mean ?
This is the traditional way to practise Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009), in the city of Mysore located in South India. A Mysore style class is not a "led" class; everyone practises at his/her own pace. It is like a private lesson with all the energy of the group setting.
You learn progressively according to your abilities and energy level in a safe environnement. Therefore these classes are open to all levels.
